The Dirty Dozen Pesticide Foods
For 14 years the EWG (Environmental Working Group)has produced reports on which foods are the most contaminated with pesticides. These reports are based on the FDA’s own test results. The findings have been reported in many media outlets including on ABC’s Good Morning America. Many people do not have access to organic foods all the time, for a variety of reasons. By avoiding the foods with the most pesticide residue people can reduce they consumption of pesticides by up to 80%. So here is the list of the most pesticide contaminated foods for 2009, you may want to consider buying the organic version of these foods or finding a substitute.

Apples
Bell peppers
Celery
Cherries
Nectarines
Strawberries
Kale
Lettuce
Imported grapes
Carrots
Pears
