You Don&#8217;t Have To Believe In Karma to see what results from being ungracious and disrespectful. Look at the Olympics to see what happens when people, in public, are confident, respectful, determined and hopeful. Then look at the results when they are disrespectful to their opponents.</p>
<p>Examples abound in both cases. In mens alpine skiing, Bode Miller and Axel Svindal, Joannie Rochette and Queen Yu-an two different stories with wonderful out comes in figure skating, Cindy Klassen, Shani Davis and many more in speed skating. Alex Bilodeau and Dale Begg-Smith in Moguls, may be the most vivid example of the jin &amp; jang of all, in these Olympics, they both had great results yet their view, joy and acceptance of the results were totally different. Men&#8217;s figure skating had interesting drama as well. You get to make your own world, so I hope you like the one your in. Those are the events I saw the most of, I did see some boardercross, ski cross and Shaun White in the halfpipe, they all were wonderful to watch.</p>
<p>The reason I started to think about this was because of the way the fans were reacting at the hockey games and curling events. I started to wonder if the fans activities may have an effect on the out come, such as good behavior may bring out a better results and dis-respectfulness a negative outcome. At the curling rink the Canadian fans have been cheering when the other team misses a shot and when the opponent calls a time out for a team meeting, which seems quite disrespectful. Did it have any impact on the results for the gold medal game, Cheryl Bernard had to chances to win the game in the tenth and eleventh ends, shoulda, coulda, woulda, didn&#8217;t, what would have happened if the fans had been more respectful? What do the psychologists think? We will see what happens in the men&#8217;s gold medal game with the Martin rink. The same thing almost happened last night in the hockey game between Canada and Slovakia. The Slovaks have quietly done their business, they beat the Russians, then the Swedes, play good team hockey and get to the semi finals. Canada has had to fight to get this far but what have the fans done. Are they thankful and respectful, do they appreciate the other team? They start to chant in the 3rd period of the German game we want Russia, they get Russia and when the game gets out of reach they start taunting Ovechkin, then in the semi final they start chanting we want the USA, they almost didn&#8217;t get what they wanted. The Slovaks put on the pressure, scored two goals and had great chances to tie the game, Canada was lucky. If I was a Canadian curler or hockey player I would be embarrassed by the behavior of the fans.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t know if karma is real of not, but as human and Canadian I like to think is. What I find hard to swallow is the idea that a mob of louts can change the deserving out comes that the athletes have toiled for years to achieve. I thank all the participants for sharing their dreams with all of us. My wish is that you could all do a personal best at the Olympics. For everyone, cheer, enjoy, celebrate, respect your opponent and each other. Go get them.</p>

The natural approach is in fact the best way to lose weight.</p>
<p>Do yourself a favor, don&#8217;t starve yourself, eat. Would you believe me if I told you to eat until you aren&#8217;t hungry? Eating more lets your body know it is alright to burn fat, that you don&#8217;t need to store it. Think about what you eat not about how much you eat. Scientists have found that  on way to lose weight is to eat more often. Eat healthy, simple real food everyday, fresh fruit and vegetables, small doses of protein and vitamins.</p>

Doctors and scientists has developed diet pills and programs, the best ones include natural ingredients, food and exercise.</p>
<p>A healthy goal to lose 20 lbs. over a 5 month period, 4-5 lbs. per month will not shock the body and put a strain on your systems. Taking away 500  calories per day or burning 500 calories per day has been shown, with reseach, to be the most effective way to do this.</p>
<p>Think about how healthy and fit you will be. What is your perfect body image? How will you feel when you can fit into those jeans or bathing suit? When you can do those stairs without losing your breathe? Use these images to motivate yourself, to help you stay with your plan and never say die, you can when you try.</p>

Having a weight loss plan and setting short goals that are healthy and achievably, that teach you how to live so you keep the weight off. How would you like to lose the waist fat, improve your health and sex life. What is the best way to lose weight? Dr. Oz has what he calls &#8220;The Beer Gut Diet&#8221;. Lose the waist fat, beer gut, but still enjoy the beer. Does this sounds to good to be true? The whole idea here is to control the portions and the calories of the bad foods and replace it with healthy alternatives.</p>
<p>How are you going to do this? It is a simple idea and one I find easy to follow because the required changes are small. Things like drinking light beer instead of regular beer. Another suggestion is to have thin crust pizza. Thick crust pizza has many more calories and carbohydrates than thin slice. Put things like pesto, sun dried tomatoes, Tomato sauce (has lycopene), olives and anchovies on your pizza to get the health benefits these foods provide. Eating healthy snacks like fruit, nuts, popcorn and humus will help to get rid of that beer belly and improve your well being. Increase your intake of fruits and vegetables to fill you up and say no to sweets. That is the one key to increase your success. One of the most important things you can do and the easiest, is to eat breakfast. Why is breakfast so important? Your body is starving when you wake up. It has been sleeping and doing very little for 7-10 hours. It has been conserving energy, calories, so you need to do things that lets your body know that it is alright to start burning calories again. To do this you need to give it some calories to burn, eat something and a reason to burn them, exercise. Breakfast can be as simple as a cup of tea or coffee and peanut butter on whole grain toast or as big as bacon and eggs. The only requirement is that you eat something.</p>
<p>The third component of the Beer Gut Diet is exercise, the reason for your body to burn the fat. I fine that the best time to exercise is when I first wake up. This gets me going, energizes me and makes me hungry. If you are going for a waist loss I suggest that you include some crunches in your core exercise plan so you have those six pack abs once the belly fat is gone. Three times a week or more, do at least half an hour of walking, jogging, swimming or biking, increase the activities as your strength and endurance improves.</p>
<p>One thing not in the Beer Gut Diet that will greatly your results and health is that you must drink water. Water is what is going to flush the excess out and help your body cleanse its self. If you follow these tips you will be on your way to healthy waist loss of course one of the healthiest diets to follow and keep the waist off is the Mediterranean diet. This is a good and easy way to begin to take care of your self and taking care of yourself is the best way to lose weight.</p>

<p>For those of you that are wondering about who Dr. Mehmet Oz is, here is a brief biography. He was born June 11, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio. New Jersey is where he now calls home with his wife, a Reiki master, and 4 children. The education he  received has given him MD &amp; MBA degrees. Dr. Oz is a Professor of Cardiac Surgery at Columbia University and a surgeon at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.  He is founder and chairman of HealthCorps, a charitable organization, as well as the author of numerous books, articles &amp; papers.</p>

It is the money to help cover the costs you experience when you or a loved one becomes sick or ill. People have lost their homes,  families breakup and  people  avoid getting the treatment they require, do to the costs of care and treatments.  Everyone knows how crippling the costs can be to treat illness &amp; treating illness is like trying to respond to the needs of a community after the levies have been breached.  The levies need to be kept strong, we need to keep our bodies strong to stay healthy, this  is a lot more efficient than trying to clean up the mess after the event. The only reason to not keep them strong is if you want to cause an event, in the case of health (illness) care the event would be to want people to be sick. We have not been able cure illness and I doubt we ever will but there is a lot that we can avoid and manage it, if we take care of our bodies.<br />
Everyone needs to have a type of  medical coverage, if we don&#8217;t have some form of medical insurance 80 or 90% of us would be hard pressed to cover the expenses of a major illness or one that requires long term care such as MS and Parkinson&#8217;s.  Personally, I would have to sell my house and there would be no way my children could even think of going to college or university. So what are the issues that must be address? One is accessibility, everyone most be covered, no one should ever be denied care or insurance. Who will provide the insurance, public or private companies or a combination of both?   The fee schedules that the care providers &amp; insurance companies use must be developed, so that the patients have the coverage that they need and don&#8217;t end up paying  exorbitant amounts out of pocket. Will the insurance company pay 80, 90 or 100% of the  expenses? How will it be determined how much the insurance should cost? Should it be the same cost for everyone or should it be based on how healthy your life style is?  IE. should people that smoke or people that are over weight have higher premiums? All of these issues need to be considered but they don&#8217;t have to all be answered now. We need to put in place a plan that is dynamic, that can grow, change and develop through time to meet our needs as the issues change. Right now the issues are affordability and accessibility. The need is for a plan that focuses on patient out comes not political, insurance, doctor or hospital outcomes, though all of this factors need to be healthy to achieve good patient out comes.</p>
<p>My hope is that you never need to use Health Care Insurance but if you or your loved ones are ever ill I hope you have the coverage you need and deserve.  Everyone must take responsibility  for their real health care. Do the things  you can to enhance your life and well being and the lives of the people you know. We can take control over what and how much we eat, how and when we exercise, the environment and the water supply. By taking control of our health care we can reduce the amount of illness care we will require. Take care of your self. You are in charge of your real health care. We are on your side.</p>

What we should be asking is why are people so hungry? Is it because the food tastes good? Most of the stuff that makes us over eat and fat is greasy and gross. So why is it we want more after we eat it? It is because it is acting like a drug and making us more hungry. It is the effect that happens with coffee, pop and alcohol, these liquids dehydrate us causing us to become more thirsty, there for we will drink more of them. What we need to do is drink water when we are thirsty and for every cup of coffee, pop or alcohol we consume have a cup of water. This will help keep us hydrated and cut down on the hangovers and headaches. The same thing is happening with our food. You can eat and eat and eat and eat but if you don&#8217;t get the vitamins and nutrients your body is craving you will never stop being hungry. It is the food that is not fulfilling the needs of our bodies and it all started about 100 years ago when we began to eat packaged foods. A 100 years ago almost no one was fat &amp; the ones that were usually had a disease or illness. Back then if you wanted to see someone fat you had to go to the circus or freak show, now overweight people are on every street in every town. If we keep going the way we are going  in another 100 years you may have to go to a freak show to see thin people.  Think I am wrong, that liquids don&#8217;t make you thirsty and food doesn&#8217;t make you hungry.
